A-State Athletics Announces "St. Bernards Medical Group Training Room Renovation Project"

Arkansas State University Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Jeff Purinton announced Thursday that the athletic training area at First National Bank Arena is currently undergoing a complete renovation, including equipment upgrades, following a generous financial commitment to the Red Wolves Foundation from St. Bernards Medical Group.

In recognition of the major gift, the ASU System Board of Trustees voted last month to rename the area the “St. Bernards Medical Group Training Room.” The Athletic Department will hold a special recognition ceremony to honor St. Bernards Medical Group during the 2:30 p.m. break of Saturday's men's basketball game against Louisiana on January 13.

"They not only provide amazing support for our programs and student-athletes, but also have a tremendous impact on our community. We want to thank St. Bernards Medical Group and their Board of Directors for making this project a reality. The upgrades made to the St. Bernards Medical Group Training Room have significantly enhanced our athletic training facilities and opportunities for both current and future #RedWolves."
