Brooke Ray Crowned Miss Arkansas State University 2025 at Annual Beauty Pageant

JONESBORO – Brooke Ray of Collinsville, Ill., was crowned Miss Arkansas State University (A-State) 2025 in the 50th annual scholarship pageant, held Wednesday evening at Riceland Hall in the Fowler Center on the A-State campus. The pageant was hosted by the Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. The 50th pageant was marked by an anniversary video that was a favorite among the audience.

Ray won the title with her rhythmic Fosse-style dance to the classic song "Putting on the Ritz." Her community service initiative is "M.O.M.S – Making Our Moms Stronger," a platform she created to raise awareness for single mothers. She was sponsored by the Arkansas State Spirit Squads.

The junior marketing major with a minor in business and a focus on sales also won the Talent Award, the On-Stage Interview Award, and the Social Media Ad Award. Among her many honors, Ray received a $5,000 USD scholarship from Arkansas State University.

First runner-up was Erica Parker of Jonesboro, a senior strategic communication major, whose community service initiative was "VIP: Volunteering is Priceless." Her talent performance was a jazz dance. She also won the People's Choice Award.

Audriann Mae Wolfe of Vilonia, a laboratory science major, won second runner-up. Her community service initiative was "Persevering Through P.O.T.S.," which aims to educate and advocate for people living with chronic illness.

Emma Kate James of Rogers, a freshman general studies major, won third runner-up. Her community service initiative was "Build a Home, Shape a Future."

Emma Scott of Jonesboro, a senior kinesiology major, won fourth runner-up, and Veronika Jergenson of Malvern was selected as Miss Congeniality.

The pageant is an official preliminary competition for Miss America, so Ray will begin preparing immediately to compete in the upcoming Miss Arkansas pageant.

The Pi Kappa Alpha chapter at A-State began sponsoring the Miss Arkansas State University pageant in 1975.
