Experience American student life this summer with the Global Youth Summer Camp Program at Arkansas State University. In this program, students will enhance their knowledge and develop skills through challenging and creative activities alongside American university faculty, community leaders, and heads of major businesses. Join in fun, meaningful activities and exciting field trips with classmates from different countries, experiencing fascinating aspects of American culture while improving your English through an ESL course.

Students will attend English classes in the morning, followed by afternoon classes in leadership, multimedia communications, or sports management.

The program runs for 2 weeks, and students may choose to also participate in the school's optional 3rd week program, which consists of intercultural communication classes.

COURSE CONTENT

  1. Sports Management Course

The Global Youth Summer Program's Sports Management course, offered by Arkansas State University, gives students unique experiences with various aspects of sports and the sports played in the United States. As part of the coursework, students will play different sports as well as learn the rules and regulations of each, providing them with insight and knowledge about sports and American culture.

Arkansas State University's Global Youth Summer Program Leadership course gives students a unique experience in leadership and communication skills. Through this course, students will develop personal skills as well as critical thinking abilities through leadership classes and group activities.

  • Direct participation in themed activities and projects, just like a university student

  1. Multimedia Communications Course

The 2-week Multimedia Communications course, part of Arkansas State University's Global Youth Summer Program, gives students hands-on experience in fields such as journalism, film, and television.
