A-State Students Named Finalists for Intercollegiate Broadcast System Media Awards

JONESBORO – Nearly 50 students in the Creative Media Production program at Arkansas State University were named finalists in seven categories of the Intercollegiate Broadcast System (IBS) Media Awards.
Schools across the United States take part in this annual competition, which recognizes the best work in student media. Winners will be announced at the IBS Conference in New York City in March.

Finalists in the Best Show Promotional Poster category for “Legacy: Black Excellence in Jonesboro” are Kayla Lindsey of Ozark, Mo., Connor Rutelonis of Little Rock, Colby Wood of Brookland, Reace Barnett of Jonesboro, James Lowery of Marion and Jacob Osborn of Searcy.
The finalist for Best Podcast for “Crappy Bag of Popcorn Podcast” is Rachel Rudd of Beebe.
