Honoring 5 Outstanding Alumni: Arkansas State University Announces the 2025 "Outstanding Young Alumni" Award

Jonesboro, AR – Arkansas State University (A-State) is proud to announce the list of 5 outstanding young alumni who will be honored at the 2025 Outstanding Young Alumni Awards Ceremony. This annual award recognizes alumni who have made significant contributions in their careers, communities, and personal lives, while demonstrating leadership and dedication.

This year's outstanding honorees include:

• Sarah Jane Smith: A graduate in Health Sciences, currently serving as Executive Director of a nonprofit organization focused on community health.
• Michael R. Davis: A graduate in Engineering, founder and CEO of a technology company at the forefront of the renewable energy sector.
• Dr. Emily Chen: A graduate with a Ph.D. in Education, currently holding a leadership role in a major school district, helping improve educational quality for thousands of students.
• Carlos Rodriguez: A graduate in Communications, an award-winning documentary filmmaker whose works convey deeply humanistic messages.
• Jessica Williams: A graduate in Agriculture, currently running a sustainable farm that applies advanced technology to optimize production and protect the environment.
