2017 Summer Camp Enrollment Announcement at Arkansas State University (USA)

Experience American student life this summer with the Summer Camp Program called: Global Youth at Arkansas State University. Joining this program, students will enhance their knowledge and develop skills through challenging and creative activities alongside American university faculty, community leaders, and heads of major businesses. Take part in fun, meaningful activities and exciting field trips with classmates from different countries, experiencing fascinating aspects of American culture while improving your English through the ESL course. The A-State Vietnam Office cordially invites parents and students to join the program.

Students will attend English classes in the morning, followed by classes in leadership skills, multimedia communications, or the arts.

SCHEDULE

Session 1: From June 4 to June 25

Session 2: From July 9 to July 30

*Housing and meals are only provided during the scheduled dates above. Students must arrange their own accommodations if arriving early or departing late relative to the schedule above.

CONTENT OF EACH SUMMER CAMP COURSE

Fine Arts Course

The Global Youth Summer Program's Fine Arts course, offered by Arkansas State University, gives students unique experiences with various aspects of the arts such as painting and music. Through class time with the university's faculty, students will have the freedom to be creative and express their individuality through their own original works.

Leadership Course

The Leadership course of the Arkansas State University Global Youth Summer Program provides students with unique experiences in leadership and communication skills. Through this course, students will develop personal skills as well as critical thinking abilities through leadership classes and group activities.

Multimedia Communications Course

The two-week Multimedia Communications course, part of the Arkansas State University Global Youth Summer Program, gives students hands-on experience in media fields such as journalism, film, and television. This course is designed for students passionate about careers such as screenwriting, music production, and more.
